Understanding the opportunity to become a leader in the Life Insurance category, New York Life hired DMI to conduct a competitive report and assessment of the insurance category – with a special emphasis on Life insurance – in order to better understand the market, competitors’ efforts and the opportunity for growth. The assignment included the provision of a competitive analysis and intelligence, understanding of competitive spend, understanding of media, online and social media efforts, brand sponsorships and integrations, use of spokespersons, methods of distribution, hiring and retention programs for Latinos, among others.
