Thanks to innovative programming, The History Channel has enjoyed remarkable success in recent seasons. A&E asked DMI to help it develop History en Español. We conducted a full assessment of A&E programming targeting the Hispanic market in the United States. A competitive review was conducted, including analysis of programming relevance, Hispanic representation in front of the camera, effectiveness of dubbed programming and other factors. We made recommendations based our findings and a three-year strategic plan was also created to provide further guidance on effectively targeting Latinos.
